Ways to Give

GENEROSITY changes lives – ours and the people to whom we give. Taking action on your generosity is simple.

Unity Spiritual Center of Greater Houston is supported entirely by your generous love offerings.

All services, classes, and events at Unity are provided on a love offering basis unless otherwise noted. We think it is important for you to know that love offerings received in classes are split between the facilitator and Unity Spiritual Center of Greater Houston. Generally, for concerts and events, the split for the facilitator is larger. Many communities in our movement have a suggested love offering of $10 to $20 per class. We trust our community to give responsibly and as you are able. Of course, if you are led to give more, please do.

While Unity will never exclude anyone from a class or event for lack of funds, we invite you to prayerfully consider what you are receiving when you take a class at Unity and how you would like to bless the facilitator. We are grateful for you and your participation in all the activities of Unity Spiritual Center of Greater Houston!

There are many ways you can help Unity Spiritual Center of Greater Houston in our mission to support as many people as possible in discovering and living their spiritual purpose and potential. Some of these methods include:

  • Donating your time and talent as in sacred service.
  • Planting cash gifts in our love offering receptacles.
  • Making donations ONLINE. Set up a one-time or recurring contribution, or pay for an upcoming event using your debit or credit card, or bank account. When you give online, you can trust that your transaction is secure.

Unity Spiritual Center of Greater Houston is a Covenant Congregation of Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM). NAM is a nonprofit, community-based, multi-program social service agency that strives to supply basic human needs through neighbors helping neighbors.

The Unity Spiritual Center of Greater Houston community helps make the holidays brighter for families in need by participating in the holiday program at Northwest Assistance Ministries. Each year, NAM receives requests from hundreds of families who are going through a difficult time and cannot afford gifts or a special meal. Through the generosity of our community, NAM has provided toys to nearly 2,500 children in just one year.

Northwest Assistance Ministries’ new Treasures of the Heart store also needs your gently used goods to make its stores successful! Consider donating your gently used furniture, housewares, and clothing to NAM. Items may be dropped off at 2325 F.M. 1960, at the 10505 Jones Road store, or at the 15555 Kuykendahl headquarters. To arrange a furniture pickup, please call 281-885-4545. Thank you for your support.

Unity Spiritual Center of Greater Houston Collects Food for our local food pantry, Cypress Assistance Ministries. It is a not for profit 501(c3) organization that relies on donations of many kinds from our community. Without the support of this community, they could not provide the array of services they do for families in our area.
